Why be a member?
It is hard enough running your business in the current climate, never mind promoting it. The rise in the last few years of websites devoted to saving money has shown the public have a real appetite for cost cutting. The Martin Lewis website http://www.moneysavingexpert.com targets the middle class and is currently one of the biggest sites on the internet, people are not ashamed to look for bargains. Weddings however are a little different, it is the most special and precious day you can have and asking for discounts can be a touchy subject. If, however they visit this website and see that you offer a 5% discount or free bridesmaids car or 50% off Shoes when bought with a dress, they know this is the deal they get when they walk in and show the Maritus Card. It takes away the embarrasment!
What do you get?
Firstly, we don't ask you to sign up for two years, not even a year! We only ask for a month at a time and the first three months are free for the first 100 to sign up! We are launching throughout 2010. If it doesn't work for you in the first three months then you can cancel without ever paying. No commitment whatsoever! We won't even send you a Direct Debit mandate until you confirm you wish to proceed. Even better, until we are happy that there are enough cardholders in your area, we won't contact you about payment! Only then will we ask you to start paying.
In this time you will get a listing in the directory for your catagory, in your area, and incidentally, we don't split the area's into counties like Lancashire or cheshire, you get the whole of the north west or south west or whichever area you are in! You will get a page all about your business with all of your contact details plus a contact form which will put the customers question straight into your inbox. We won't send you details of people who don't want you to contact them!
What else?
We will supply point of sale in the form of window stickers informing people you accept the Maritus Card and as the card is free to the end user there will be plenty of takers. When a bride or groom or parent signs up for the card they give us their details, including when they are getting married and what they have already arranged and crucially, what they haven't yet arranged. This information will be matched with our members and distributed accordingly. So if a bride has her venue and dress but doesn't yet have a car, DJ or photographer then we send their information to the nearest three photographers, DJ's and Car company.
What we won't do is send you a hundred rubbish leads farmed from a day at a wedding fayre which you then need to spend days trying to contact only to be told they have already been sorted.

We are experts at internet marketing. Do you know which of your customers come from the listing? Has it paid for itself or has it made you money? Is the site aimed at a national audience? People travel a fair bit these days! Internet dating is huge nowadays which means weddings can be two hundred miles away from one set of parents!
Every penny you spend on advertising is a penny less you can offer in savings to your customers and every minute spent promoting your site is a minute less you can spend with your customers giving them the great service they expect.
